Where do I pick up my IDW26 pass?

+

It depends on your pass type!

On Monday, April 21, there are two options:

  • VIPs can pick up their badges at the VIP Kick-Off Party that evening.
  • All-Access and Day Pass holders (and VIPs who can’t attend the party) can check in early from 10am–1pm at 1656 Club—bonus: grab your midday coffee, tea, or matcha and get 10% off when you show your name badge or ticket!

Can’t make it Monday? No worries! You can check in and pick up your badge at any of our flagship events. These include:

  • April 21: First Draft Showcase @ 16 Tech
  • April 22: Sustainable by Design @ The Stutz Pink Building
  • April 23: Designing Indy’s Next Chapter @ IND
  • April 24: Keynote Event @ The Basile Theatre at the Historic Athenaeum
  • April 24: Design Market & Open Studios @

Just bring your ticket confirmation and we’ll get you set up. If you’re looking to pick up your poster or t-shirt order, this is your spot too!

Day Pass & Single Event Tickets: Your phone is your ticket in! Access it anytime through your confirmation email or this link.

What happens if I lose my pass?

+

We encourage you to keep your pass close by - as it offers unique discounts at multiple locations around the city during IDW26 (April 20-25). If you lose your badge, you can use your phone as your ticket OR purchase a new one for a $5 charge.

What discounts are offered from participating partners?

+

Discounts are available through our Creative Spaces program exclusively to VIP All-Access, All-Access, and Day passholders and can be requested by showing your badge or ticket.

Can I attend events without a pass?

+

Yes—as long as the event isn’t sold out! You can purchase individual tickets online throughout the week or onsite, but registration is still required.

To check availability and pricing, head to our schedule or ticket page for the most up-to-date info on each event.

For real-time updates on sold-out events and capacity, follow us on Instagram @indydesignweek!

Can I register at the door?

+

Yes—if the event isn’t sold out! On-site registration is available for most events, but we highly recommend purchasing online ahead of time to ensure tickets are still available, and for the smoothest experience.

Some events may sell out ahead of time, so follow us on Instagram @indydesignweek for real-time updates and availability alerts!

Where is Indy Design Week held?

+

Indy Design Week takes place at multiple venues across downtown Indianapolis, highlighting creative spaces, studios, and community hubs throughout the city.

There’s no single location—each event has its own unique venue, which you can find listed on the schedule page.

From galleries to coworking spaces, universities to museums, we’re popping up all over Indy to celebrate design in every corner.

Do I need to register for each event individually?

+

Yes—even if you have an All-Access Pass or Day Pass, you’ll still need to register for each event you plan to attend through your attendee portal.

Many events have limited capacity, and registration helps us manage seating, materials, and check-in lists. To guarantee your spot, we recommend reserving your seat as early as possible.

Your pass unlocks access, but registration ensures you're on the list. Be sure to check the schedule page and log into your portal to start building your personalized IDW26 experience!

Looking for guidance? Check out this video walkthrough to see how to add and remove events from your schedule—don't forget to click "Save Changes" at the bottom!

NOTE: If an event is greyed out and not clickable, that means it’s sold out. But keep a close eye out in case someone releases their seat! If you really had your heart set on that event, feel free to reach out to info@indydesignweek.com or DM us on our social platforms closer to the event date—there may be standing room availability!

Are the venues accessible?

+

We strive to make Indy Design Week events accessible to everyone! Please note any accessibility needs when purchasing your ticket so we can best accommodate you.

Is parking available at the venues during IDW26?

+

Parking availability varies by venue, but we always aim to make each event as seamless as possible. We recommend visiting the IDW website to see specific parking information!

Additionally, we are excited to offer complimentary IndyGo passes thanks to the IndyGo Foundation! Just add-on the number of days you need when you purchase your ticket(s).

What’s the best way to stay up-to-date with all things IDW25?

+

Please be sure to follow us on Instagram for live event updates. We also highly recommend all attendees download the app here (Apple or Android) before they arrive at the venue.

What’s the best contact method if I have a question during the week?

+

For urgent inquiries, email us at info@indydesignweek.com and we will respond as quickly as possible. You can also reach out on social media for non-urgents inquiries.

Will there be Indy Design Week merchandise available during IDW26?

+

We have limited posters and t-shirts available for purchase. Preordering on the 2026 website is the best way to guarantee your merchandise, but limited quantities will be available for purchase onsite at flagship events.

What should I wear?

+

Most attendees opt for business casual. While we encourage you to wear what’s comfortable, please refrain from wearing anything hateful or hurtful. Come as you are, leave inspired.

What should I bring?

+

Please bring yourself, your favorite notetaker (IDW26 Field Guide, iPad, journal, sketchpad, etc), and fully-charged devices. Feel free to bring your business cards, recent inspirations/works and a friend, too!

We cannot guarantee access to outlets or storage of any items brought to events.
